At the beginning of this meeting to discuss the waterfront, Secretary-General Matsui said...2030The "Water City Osaka Vision" outlines the vision Osaka aims to have for the coming year.2030The contents of the vision were explained, and Professor Shinya Hashizume, Specially Appointed Professor at the Research Promotion Organization, Osaka Metropolitan University, and Professor Koichi Kana, Graduate School of Engineering, Osaka Metropolitan University, who served as members of the Vision Review Committee, also commented on the thoughts and aims behind the vision.

During the discussion session, participants shared heartfelt opinions about the future of Osaka, the "Water City," and the survey included comments such as, "We would like to have more opportunities for such discussions in the future." We hope to continue creating opportunities for collaboration with everyone to realize our new vision, "Sustainable Co-creation of Waterfronts: Osaka, the Water City."
