At the Suido Osaka Consortium,In order to disseminate information about the charms of Osaka, the water city,We will be holding a photo reel video contest with the theme of "Waterside Scenery."
In addition to everyday waterside scenery,Starting with the Tenjin Festival, a seasonal summer event,Extraordinary scenes related to the Expo, etc.Take photos or videos that capture the charm of Osaka, the Water City, and post them on social media!
We look forward to seeing your wonderful photos and videos.

Recruitment period: July 2025, 7 (Friday) to November 18, 11 (Sunday)

The results will be announced in mid-January 2026 (on this website).
Winners will be contacted via direct message on each SNS account.

Work conditions etc.

Photos must be taken near water in the target areas between January and November 2025.
The length of your reel video should be approximately 30 seconds.
Photos and video reels submitted must be taken by the applicant themselves. Works previously published on personal SNS etc. can also be submitted. However, duplicate submissions to other contests are not permitted.
Please refrain from submitting photos that have been significantly altered, such as composites. Photos that are a combination of images are also not accepted. Photos that have been slightly altered, such as by adjusting brightness, saturation, or color, or by cropping, are acceptable.
You may submit up to three works per category. Please make it clear which category you are submitting your work to.

(Photos can be taken off the map, but) as a general rule, please take photos near the water as shown on the map below.

Osaka has a "Water Corridor" consisting of a U-shaped river in the center of the city, and is home to a variety of cruises and tourist spots.

How to apply (submit)

STEP1 Set SNS to public

Set the applicant's social media accounts to public.
Please keep your profile set to public until the results are announced.

STEP2 follow account

Follow the official Suido Osaka social media accounts.

STEP3 Tagging the official account

Please tag our official account (listed above) when posting on Instagram, X, Facebook, or any other social media platform you own.

STEP4 Post photos and videos to social media

When posting, be sure to include one of the following hashtags:

*Posts without tags or designated hashtags will be invalid.

Result announcement

Application rules

Anyone (hereinafter referred to as "Applicant") who submits an entry to the "Suido Osaka Photo Reel Video Contest" (hereinafter referred to as "This Contest") organized by the Suido Osaka Consortium (hereinafter referred to as "Our Organization") is deemed to have agreed to the following application terms and conditions.

●You may submit up to three works per category. Please make it clear which category you are submitting to.
●Works submitted to this contest (hereinafter referred to as "Submitted Works") must have never been submitted or published in any other contest, and have no plans to do so in any other contest.
●The submitted works will be reviewed by our organization's secretariat to determine the winners.
●If an applicant wins multiple awards, only the highest award will be awarded.
●We welcome submissions from overseas, however due to administrative procedures etc., awards and prizes will only be sent within Japan.
●When applying for this contest, posts that are not tagged or include the specified hashtag will be invalid.
●If your account is set to private, such as "Make posts private (X)" or "Private account (Instagram)", you will not be eligible to apply.
●If there is a violation of the application terms and conditions, or for other reasons determined by our organization's secretariat, the submitted work may not be posted on our organization's website.
●If we are unable to deliver the prize to an applicant due to reasons such as us being unable to contact the applicant (for example, because the applicant does not follow our official social media accounts) or because the applicant's address is unknown, the applicant may forfeit their right to receive the prize.
●Copyright and portrait rights of submitted works belong to the applicant.
●The submitted work may be freely used by the organization for its public relations purposes free of charge. In addition, the organization may use the submitted work for academic research or provide it to others, and the applicant agrees that the organization and others who receive it from the organization may use it free of charge. In this regard, the organization may modify or alter parts of the submitted work.
●If a person appears in the video, please obtain permission from that person before submitting the video. Please also obtain consent for the video to be used by our organization before submitting the video. If any dispute arises between our organization and any person appearing in the photo, our organization will not bear any responsibility, and the applicant will be responsible for resolving it. In the unlikely event that any objection is raised about the submitted work by any person with any rights, including copyright holders, neighboring rights, or portrait rights, the applicant will be responsible for resolving it at their own expense.
Please refrain from posting the following:
- Infringement of other people's intellectual property rights, portrait rights, privacy, etc.

Harassment or abuse that harms the reputation or credibility of others

- Content that is discriminatory or disadvantageous to others

- Content that violates public order and morals or offends other viewers

・Fireworks, skateboarding, and other prohibited activities on the Tonbori River Walk

・Dangerous or nuisance behavior, such as jumping into the river, etc.

- Content intended for advertising, sales activities, election campaigns, or solicitation to specific ideologies or religions

- Any other content that the organization deems inappropriate
●The organization will not be held responsible for any damages or complaints arising from posts related to this contest. Furthermore, the poster may be required to cover the costs incurred in dealing with such claims.
●Personal information such as applicants' names and addresses will be used only for the purpose of notifying winners and mailing prizes and will not be used for any other purpose.
●Our organization reserves the right to change, cancel, suspend or terminate any or all of the services in this campaign without prior notice, and will not be liable for any damages resulting from such changes. The results of the screening will be announced on our website, etc. Please note that we cannot accept any inquiries regarding the contents of the screening.
