An additional "Yodogawa Gateway Experience Cruise" has been scheduled for Tuesday, June 9th!

The Yodogawa Gateway, a sluice gate completed in March 2026 to allow boats to travel between the upper and lower reaches of the Yodogawa River, is the focus of this cruise. The cruise will take you through two sluice gates: the Yodogawa Gateway and the Kema Lock.

In addition, a special tour of the Kema Drainage Pump Station, said to be the best flood control facility in Japan, will be held! This boat and town walk tour will allow you to thoroughly explore the Kema facilities, which are not usually open to the public.
