Recruitment of business operators to plan, coordinate and manage the lively events at the waterfront of the Nakanoshima Park Rose Garden

The Aqua Metropolis Osaka Consortium (hereinafter referred to as "SOC") has set a vision of "Sustainable Co-creation of a Waterfront Aqua Metropolis Osaka" and is working to further revitalize the water corridor by creating attractive waterfront areas and improving the space and environment to promote maritime transportation.
During the 2025 Osaka-Kansai Expo (hereinafter referred to as "Expo"), many people from both Japan and overseas visited Osaka, bringing excitement not only to the Expo site but also to the city as a whole. Looking ahead to the opening of the Osaka IR in 2030, we believe it is important to continue to create, refine, communicate and attract visitors to the appeal of Osaka, the city of water, in order to sustain this excitement and lead to further growth in Osaka even after the Expo ends.
Therefore, in May, when the roses are in full bloom at Nakanoshima Park, an important waterfront tourist hub centered around the water corridor in Osaka City, we will hold events utilizing cruises departing and arriving at Nakanoshima Park's Rose Port, allowing people to fully enjoy the charms of Osaka, the water city, and experience Osaka as a water city.We will also implement projects to promote the appeal of the waterfront, create excitement, and revitalize water transportation.
In implementing the project, we will utilize the knowledge and know-how of private businesses and others to make it more effective and efficient, so we will be soliciting contractors through an open call for project proposals.
