We have posted questions and answers regarding the recruitment of contractors for the Aquapolis Osaka "Symbolic Space of Water and Light" Creation Project.

The Aquapolis Osaka Consortium (hereinafter referred to as "SOC") has set the goal of "creating a first-class aquapolis unlike any other in the world, while bringing smiles to the faces of those who live there, those involved, and those who visit," and is working to further revitalize the water corridor by creating more attractive waterfront areas and improving the space and environment to revitalize water transportation.
With the Osaka-Kansai Expo being held in 2025, it is expected that many tourists from Japan and abroad, as well as Osaka residents, will visit Osaka. Taking advantage of the Expo, we will be lighting up the waterfront to create a "symbolic space of water and light" centered on the water corridor, including the east-west axis, with the aim of creating a lively waterfront and revitalizing boat traffic during the winter off-season.
In implementing the project, we will utilize the knowledge and know-how of private businesses and others to make it more effective and efficient, so we will be soliciting contractors through an open call for project proposals.
