Project Case 16 Higashiyokobori River Research (2021-2023)
[Research on creating a new symbolic space for the water city of Osaka along the Higashi-Yokobori River (period: July 2021 to March 7)]
Using the "β Honmachi Bridge" initiative as a pioneer, we conducted research to explore how to create a symbolic space befitting the Higashi-Yokobori River by identifying needs, creating a shared space, building model examples, and implementing and verifying them in a cyclical manner.

We will hold interviews and workshops with businesses, organizations, landowners, experts, related organizations, etc.

② We will propose model examples of collaboration with businesses and organizations, riverside residents and stores, and public initiatives. - For ① and ②, we will select locations and conduct trials to explore how to create a symbolic space that is appropriate for the Higashi-Yokobori River.
