[Higashiyokobori River Research Project (October 2020 to March 10)]

Using the initiative of β Honmachi Bridge as a pioneer, we will conduct research to find ways to create new excitement in the water city of Osaka that are suited to the characteristics of the Higashi-Yokobori River.

[Survey Objective]

• Through interviews with experts and specialists in various fields, we have developed a plan for the area that will help create a lively atmosphere in the area, including "shipping," "parks," and "environment."
  1) Gain specialized knowledge.
• Through interviews with organizations, stores, and companies in the area,
  ② Understand local needs and issues.
• By 1) understanding the specialized knowledge and 2) the needs and issues, we will consider new ways of creating activity along the Higashi-Yokobori River that correspond to the current situation, leading to the proposal of a model for creating activity.

The survey was primarily targeted at businesses, organizations, government agencies, experts, etc. interested in utilizing the local area and waterfront areas.
