Waterfront Use

How to use 1

Use public waterfront spaces and boat docks

Public spaces such as rivers and parks are generally free for anyone to use, but if you are using them with a large group of people or occupying them for a certain period of time, you will need to apply to the appropriate authorities.
Osaka Prefecture and Osaka City support privately-led initiatives for creating attractive urban environments and developing new communities. As part of this effort, we have published "Waterfront Utilization Navi (Waterfront City Osaka Edition)," which compiles information on permit procedures related to waterfront use.
It also includes information on how to use Osaka Fureai no Mizube, Tonbori River Walk, parks, promenades, etc. Please cooperate in making the waterfront of Aqua Metropolis Osaka more lively and attractive.
Please refer to the Waterfront Navigation (Water Metropolis Osaka Edition) for information on using public docks and water navigation rules.
